Google launches enhanced voice recognition for Android phones

Google just announced Voice Actions at a conference in the US. The Voice Actions app hasn't appeared in the UK Android Market yet, but my phone already seems to do 'call', 'directions to', 'map of' and 'navigate to'. It's really rather good.

Update - since yesterday, my phone seems to vocalise what it's thinking. In the middle of last night a robotic woman said 'data connection lost' and nearly gave me a heart attack. Possibly not related to the announcement but who knows...
