It's time to Get Fit! #GetFit_GBR

We're working with GE Healthcare on a campaign called 'Get Fit' as part of its cancer awareness drive. The game encourages people to tweet their fitness pledges with a hashtag corresponding to their home country (in my case, #GetFit_GBR). The more you tweet, the faster your country changes from red to green on the Get Fit map.

Once the campaign is over, one twitterer will also receive a $20,000 donation to their country's Red Cross.

From GE Healthcare's campaign site:

Cancer is a leading cause of death around the world, and its incidence continues to rise. Each year, 12.7 million people discover they have cancer and 7.6 million people die from the disease. Evidence shows that 30–40 per cent of all cancer deaths can be prevented, and one-third can be cured through early diagnosis and treatment. Research also has found that a healthy diet and regular exercise can help reduce the risk of cancer.
